Mission

To preserve, protect and perpetuate the history and culture of the Patawomeck Indian Tribe Of Virginia, Inc. and ensure that the memory of the Patawomeck Band of Indians never dies.

Currently, the Tribe holds events throughout the year to support the community, including the First Responders Appreciation Event and various Health Clinics

We base our vision off of our ancestors' trading philosophy.

In 1607, our Tribe continued to trade food with the Jamestown colonists, even when the relationship with the Powhatan Federation was poor.

Vision

The Patawomeck Tribe strives to positively impact, educate, and engage the Stafford/Fredericksburg community.

The Tribe is currently in the process of opening a museum full of artifacts and activities to discover the history of the Patawomecks. A historical, living village is in the works.
