Each class progressively increases the level of knowledge of the individual and focuses on communication and interaction. Select the class that fits your language needs. In order to graduate, you must attend at least 50% of the classes and give an oral presentation on the last day of class.

Conversational Class
19 years old and up
Instructor: Heather Gray
The Adult Conversational Language Class focuses on the basics of conversation without the technical aspects of the language. This class emphasizes the understanding of a regular mainstream of conversation on familiar topics and aims to build a solid foundation for beginners.
Youth Class
10-18 years old
Instructor: Caleb Dodd
The Youth Language Class focuses on the language in a way the young adults will understand and have a better chance at retaining the information. This is accomplished through age appropriate activities.
Children's Circle
9 years old and younger
Instructor: Heather Gray
The Children's Language Class is specifically tailored to preschool and early elementary children. Age appropriate activities like singing, movement, arts and crafts, and snacks are used to assist the children in understanding and using our language. This class is designed to be fun and engaging, to keep the language alive for our people today. Language is a huge component in preserving our culture and traditions, and it is never too early to start learning! This class will be focused on conversational Patawomeck, basic phrases, colors, numbers, naming objects, etc. NiNaMen Kir! See you there!
