Day Of Your Visit

Consider the following tips when visiting the Museum to ensure the best experience possible.

Parking is free. Bus, personal vehicle, and van parking is available. Bus drivers should park in the parking spots designated for buses.

Leave lunches on the bus or in vehicles. Thanks for protecting our collections by not bringing food or drinks into the Museum, Multimedia Center, or Living History Village areas. Lunches may be eaten in the outside area available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

When you arrive, gather your group near the Multi-Media Center.
Keep entry doors clear.

All groups must remain together for the duration of the tour.

Count the number of students, teachers/chaperones. We realize that the number of students attending your Field Trip may change. However, keep in mind that your Field Trip will be charged for the number of students confirmed even if fewer students attend. Changes can be made up to a week prior to your visit.

Check In when you arrive. Send your lead teacher inside with your final headcount to check in with a Docent.

Remind your chaperones to help their students adhere to the Field Trip Policies.

Please be aware of the Photography & Video Recording Release. Upon entering the Museum, you and your children / students may be photographed or filmed for marketing purposes. If this is an issue for anyone in your Field Trip, please contact us prior to your visit.

Once the film is viewed at the Multimedia Center, the Docent will escort the students into the Museum.
